Although it's generally not recommended to cross breed Samoyeds, they can produce some very striking looking dogs. Take a look at some examples of various dogs which have been mixed with Samoyeds for some interesting results!
The Eurasier breed originated from Germany and is a cross breed of the Wolf-Chow (Wolfspitz / Chow Chow cross), and Samoyed.
The breed was designed to create a dog with the best qualities of all three breeds and today the Eurasier, though considered a young breed are known for being calm, alert, and reserved with strangers without being overly cautios or acting aggressively.
Samoyed-Corgi Cross Breed
Mixing Samoyed with Corgi results in a dog with miniature Samoyed features, stretched out across the elongated Corgi body shape.
Complete with the fluffy, curled tail and that famous sammy smile.
We suggest the Samoyed-Corgi mix be known as a Samorgi or Smorgi.
Samoyed-Golden Retreiver Cross Breed
Personality-wise, Samoyeds and Golden Retreivers are a match made in heaven. Both are known for being extremely social and good with people. But visually, the dog features the traditional folded ears, fur with a golden hue but much longer and softer from the Samoyed influence.
We hereby name the Samoyed-Golden retreiver mix, the Golden Sammy or Gammy.
Samoyed-Husky Cross Breed
Samoeds and Huskies are closely related and share many similar features. Take a look at the adorable results of this mixture.
We think that the Samoyed-Husky mixture should be named the Shusky.

Samoyed-Malamute Cross Breed
Malamutes are big hefty dogs made for pulling heavy sleds. The mixture with Samoyed DNA creates a coat which features the traditional Malamute colour and patterning, but with a longer, fluffier appearance.
We think the Samoyed-Malamute mix should be named the Samute, Salamute or Malamoyed.
Samoyed-German Shepherd Cross Breed
Combining Samoyed and German Shepherd creates a very striking animal. We think the mixture should be called the Samoyed Shepherd, German Samoyed or Sammy Gerry.
Here are 2 different variations.
The white fur and fluffy curled tail of the samoyed, combined with the more serious face and slender features of the German Shepherd makes for an almost wolf-like appearance.
Traditional German Shepherd colouring but the long, soft coat the curled tail of the Samoyed give this dog a softer, more friendly appearance.
Samoyed-Border Collie Cross Breed
A highly energetic herding dog with the friendliness and good looks of the Samoyed. The mix of a Samoyed with Border Collie results in the signature curled Sammy tail and the triangular shaped ears which stick upright, but the unique markings of the Border Collie.
The Samoyed-Border Collie mix is known as a Samoyed Collie, or a Samollie.
